Many boating clubs have joining fees of around $20,000 p.a. Instead we have created a package with AusMarine that allows an affordable pay-as-you-go system for the low joining fee of $499. After the first year you only pay an annual membership fee of $99. Plus TIC Members will receive a $100 gift voucher to use towards their first booking cost.
Once the boat of choice has been booked; boat hire and used fuel are then the only other outlays encountered. While booking the boat, our Members can choose a date and the port location from which you would like to skipper the vessel ( if a boat license of course is held, or training done via AusMarine to hold a boat license- see cost below) . Licensed Skippers can also be arranged at a cost, so feel free to discuss this with AusMarine.
Before our Members depart from their chosen Marina, please note that a $500 fuel security deposit is required to be paid into the Membership account, and it is from this account that fuel usage costs will be deducted. This security deposit must be at least $500 in credit before Members can depart on their chosen vessel, and the amount of fuel used will depend on the individual needs of each boat.
The boats are let out for 22hr day minimum usually, so it is possible for someone to take business colleagues out at 9.30am and return at approx. 5pm (dusk), then take their family out overnight (provided the vessel is anchored or moored from dusk till dawn) returning the vessel by 7.30am the next morning. The booking cost could also be divided up between people on the day allowing even more affordability and of course outlays are Tax Deductible for most businesses!
Boat licences can also be arranged at a minimal cost of approx $150 extra for those in need. The $499 Joining Fee also includes a half day Captain's competency course on a 34ft or larger luxury boat.

Hire Costs
Luxury Sun Runner Boats hire cost is approximately as follows –
28ft for a 22hr day - $200 Tuesday / $400 Monday, Wednesday or Thursday / $550 on Friday Saturday or Sunday, Vessel Licensed to carry 8 (can sleep 4 adults comfortably)
33ft for a 22hr day - $400 Tuesday / $550 Monday, Wednesday or Thursday / $850 on Friday, Saturday or Sunday, Vessel Licensed to carry 10 (can sleep 4 adults and 2 children comfortably)
37ft for a 22hr day - $550 Tuesday / $750 Monday, Wednesday or Thursday $1100 on Friday Saturday or Sunday, Vessel Licensed to carry 12 (can sleep 6 adults comfortably)

What to do now...
Follow the STEPS...
Step 1
Navigate to www.ausmarine.com.au and use the “SIGN UP Now” tab ( right of screen) to join Ausmarine Luxury Boating and start your account. Do not pay the stated normal $1000 joining fee; rather use our TIC Member unique code of TIC09 to be identified as a TIC Member, and proceed to join Ausmarine as a non-paying member.
After personal details have been entered and you agree that you accept the terms and conditions, then go up to the Console button, and do not make payment at all.
You will then be able to view the fleet ( Use the > to show all available boats) , available ports and booking charges etc.
You will then receive an email like:
Step 2
Contact Richard Fenner from Ausmarine at info@ausmarine.com.au or 1300 189 707 – Richard is authorised to initiate all TIC Members into Ausmarine Luxury Boating Club and will align the special TIC Member discounts, and reduced price joining fee to your new Ausmarine Luxury Boating Membership. We would appreciate knowing if you are requested to meet an annual fee above $499 for your first year.
Step 3
For those who already have a boat licence, a competency course will then be arranged by Richard Fenner on a suitable date. For those in need of a boat licence, Richard can also help.
Step 4
Simply book the chosen Luxury boat that suits your needs from any available port.
Step 5
Last of all you must pay any costs and fuel deposits via credit card or at the Marina before you leave, then you’re off and sailing...
