The mission of The Investors Club is:
“To help the maximum number of people achieve financial freedom in the shortest time with minimal cash outlay."
The Club was founded in 1994 with the aim of providing people with the tools and strategies to acquire highly profitable investment properties so they could achieve financial freedom (or retire early).
The first Club meeting was held at the home of the Club’s founders, Kevin and Kathy Young, at Wynnum, Brisbane in 1994. It was attended by about a dozen people, most with existing investment properties, who had a mutual interest in creating wealth.
This small gathering was the seed of The Investors Club and highlighted the benefit of networking with like-minded individuals and the sharing of property investment strategies. It also reinforced Kevin and Kathy’s belief that other people could benefit from practical advice and support from experienced property investors. This is what underpins The Investors Club and continues to drive its operations today.
Largely through word of mouth, The Investors Club quickly grew to such an extent that it was necessary to establish its first office (which has now become the Head Office). The Club’s first newsletter was published in 1995.
Head Office comprises dedicated management and administrative personnel who ensure the operations of The Investors Club are conducted efficiently and effectively. They enable Club members to have access to ongoing support and guidance to achieve the best possible return from their investments.
From humble beginnings The Investors Club has grown rapidly. Today, over 70,000 families are members of The Investors Club and receive the Club's bi-monthly newsletter.
The Club holds meetings every week in many parts of Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom.
