Wendy & John Priestly : Branch Manager of the Year for 2007
Wendy and John had won two monthly awards in May and again in October during 2007, and Wendy was part of a joint win in July earning the highly valued couple the award for the year. Their notable achievements included "their endless and excellent support and education not only to their Branch but to other state Branches" (May, 2007) and "for all [their] organisation and work in planning and running the highly successful PMC Conference in Fiji for the third year in a row. For their work on various committees, particularly for Wendy’s continued involvement with the Management Advisory Panel (MAP)" (Oct, 2007).
Anne Greening : Support Member of the Year for 2007
Anne had won three monthly awards through 2007, an astonishing feat considering the excellent level of all SMs. The SM of the Year went to Anne namely due to her "great passion and enthusiasm towards members and the Club" (Mar, 2007) and that she "looked after members whilst New Zealand SMs were overseas for 6 weeks [even though she is based in Melbourne]. This was over and above her own Team Leader/Support Member obligations" (Jul, 2007). "Anne’s sharing and assistance goes above and beyond what would be usual" (Jan, 2008).
Kylie Christie : Staff Member of the Year for 2007
No one person won the award twice during 2007 making this award difficult to pick, but Kylie Christie had shone above the pack due to her "initiative in the development of the Red Flag System." (Oct, 2007).
Wayne McPhee : Researcher of the Year for 2007
Wayne had won an amazing five times throughout 2007 as well as a joint award towards the close. His remarkable achievement came through "recognition for committing extra time to talk to members; and providing a PowerPoint presentation which was most comprehensive, informative and entertaining, and which left Support Members feeling both enthusiastic and confident about supporting our Club properties" (Feb, 2007) and "his willingness to travel to Melbourne to present at a recent Researchers Road Show" (Nov/Dec, 2007).
Richard van Proctor : Special Commendation Award
This award was given to Richard as a very close runner-up for Branch Manager of the Year. The Investors Club wishes to acknowledge all the extra work he took on board through 2007 and wish him all the best for next year's award.
