Elizabeth and I are over the moon at having discovered the Investors Club as we at last have found a way of retiring earlier than expected and in a more sound financial position as a result of following the Club's advice with property investing.
We sat down and calculated that we could retire at 65 with around 20k per year, not something we looked forward to however since being involved with the club for just 2 1/2 years we have purchased two properties and have signed up for a third and are looking for our fourth as we write.
Our first purchase was one of the scariest things we will ever embark on but with the help and guidance from the Club we made it through and now ask ourselves what were we so afraid of as we feel very confident that we will be able to retire early and with sufficient funds to be able to make any choice we want during our retirement.
The people we have met through the club, on our journey to early retirement, have been terrific and it is so nice to be able to talk with like minded individuals who are just as enthusiastic as ourselves. We have enjoyed the journey so much that we have just recently become Support Members so as to help others achieve financial security. We have been amazed at the level of support and encouragement that the club continually gives its members and for this reason the decision to become Support Members was an easy one for us.
One highlight since becoming members of the Club, and there have been many, has been the trips we have made to Queensland to view our property and/or prospective properties. We have been treated to first class service and information by tireless runners (themselves Support Members) and have enjoyed putting names to faces when visiting The Club's offices.
We look forward to wearing the colourful T shirt when we eventually become members of the Property Millionaires Club - even if it is in need of a redesign Kevin.
