Recently we had the opportunity to attend a Level 2 workshop in Launceston. We would like to thank Support Member Virginia Bergman and all those involved for a great workshop. In fact, we can categorically say that the information we left with was worth at least $16,000 in cold, hard cash. How’s that for value for money!
The timing of the seminar was perfect for us as we were picking up our property investment portfolio again after an absence of a year or so and had begun the processes for acquiring our 4th and 5th properties.
Being a little out of touch with the latest additions to the Club’s huge portfolio of services and feeling a bit disoriented as to what type of property to go for next, we were just happy for the chance to get back into the zone and ‘inside the head’ of people like Kevin Young, Troy Gunasekera and Martin Bell. Anything else would have been a bonus – and we got so much more than we bargained for.
We re-learned just how hard-working the Club’s Researchers are – putting together property profiles like it was their own money they were spending and we were impressed and proud to be associated through the Club with developers of the high caliber and professionalism of Glenwood Homes.
But our REAL bonus came from the ‘up-stamping’ tips presented by Club Loans’ finance guru, Simon Norris. It’s true that Simon is a Manchester United fan, but we tried not to let that stop us from listening carefully to what he had to say and having since put his suggestions into action, we have saved around $16,000 in mortgage insurance fees!
Melissa and I firmly believe in the adage that thoughts are things. We have proven many times that “if you would change your life, first change your thinking”, so we went to this seminar expecting to pick up some new thoughts and ideas which would help us to build our financial independence. We had no idea that we would actually come away $16,000 better off!
It proved to us, once again, that we simply can not afford to miss seminars like these!
So please convey our sincere thanks to all concerned for arranging the seminar – it was timely, re-invigorating, inspiring and, for us, quite literally worth thousands of dollars!
